Installation

This chapter introduces installing GoCD and preparing the server and agent hosts. The following sections cover the supported platforms and package formats, system requirements, installing the GoCD server on Linux, Windows, macOS or a generic archive, installing the GoCD agent, and verifying that the server starts and agents register. Review the system requirements first, choose the package that matches your operating system, install the server, then install and connect one or more agents before running your first pipeline.
